A FREE NHS Health Check can help reduce these risks and make sure that you stay healthy.
You are eligible if you don’t have any underlying health conditions like Diabetes, high cholesterol on treatment or a heart condition.
Please ask reception for a non fasting blood test form and book and appointment afterwards with the Nurse or Doctor to complete the Health Check.

Protected Learning Days
Why does my practice close some Wednesdays?
Keeping up to date with new treatments and techniques is really important in the NHS. Once a month - usually on a Wednesday morning - our GPs go to training events to help make sure that you are getting the very best care possible. The surgery is closed between 8.30am to 1.30pm on these days.
On these days we have a limited service here at the practice, but you can still be seen by our out of hours service during this time. If you need to see a doctor before our surgery is open again please call 0330 100 4471.
Here are the dates and times we will be closed in 2019:
- Wednesday January 16th
- Wednesday February 20th
Your GP's and practice staff apologise for any inconvenience and remain committed to giving you the safest, high quality care we possibly can.
