Protected Learning Days

Why does my practice close some Wednesdays?

Keeping up to date with new treatments and techniques is really important in maintaining a high standard of medical care in the NHS. Once a month - usually on a Wednesday morning - our doctors attend training events to help make sure that you are getting the very best care possible.

The surgery is closed between 8.30am to 1.30pm on these days and there may be a limited service on the day.

Your GP's and practice staff apologise for any inconvenience and remain committed to giving you the safest, high quality care we possibly can.
